(oops. i’ve been neglecting too many of my blogs. but, like many of them, Jax got into a rut because…. same thing every day, no one wanted to interact with a derpy tenta like him, so his muse settled down happily with Ian and the baby tentaderp….

Jaxon wiggled into the cave, smiling brightly. He was moving carefully, holding something tiny in his arms.
“Gabriel… I has something to show you.” Almost shyly, he wiggled closer.
“Jax! Oh, petit, it’s been so long I was wondering what ‘ad become of you… oh? What ‘ave you got zhere?”
He comes closer, peering at what the Tentasniper is holding curlously.
“It was cold. I did not like to go outside.” He frowned and curled up a bit, but smiled widely at the question. Shifting a bit, he revealed a teeny little baby tenta, red and blue and just the smallest thing ever.
“I found her egg outside. It was cold and she was cold and didn’t grow much. The nice lady doctor said she is okay, though. Just tiny and she won’t talk yet.”
The little tenta peered up at the much bigger one with wide, bright blue eyes, shrinking back a little.
“She is cute and little and…” Jaxon smiled fondly down at the teeny thing. “…. And I have a family now. Harvest is nice to splices like us. The nice lady doctor knows lots about us and she gave me a respawn thingy…” He peered up at Krake, tilting his head. “… Why do you not come visit some? There are all kinds of hybrids, and ponds and rivers and pumpkins and all sorts of neat things.”

=He moved closer, putting a hand on the egg as well= Um…Can you feel a heartbeat at all?
Is little… Will get bigger when it gets warm. -he nuzzles against the egg’s shell, trying to help it warm up-

…Dead thing? =He raised a brow, setting the bundled egg in the nest= What dead thing?
-he shrugged, curling around the egg and chittering softly at it-
Stinky dead thing. Skele-thing. All gross and picked on…
=Watches him= Huh… =Tempted to ask where, but decides against it= Well uh…it’s a good thing you’ve found it, then.
-he lets out a purr, running his hand over the chilled shell- I hope he’s okay… Was very cold…

=Steps inside, holding the egg bundle= You could make a little nest thing by the heater…

=Just sits down on the floor by the heater, still holding the egg close= So, uhh…Where did you get the egg?

oh, hi anon. i dunno how long this was sitting in there…
and, they’re not really bird-like, exactly. i can’t really describe how they look at this moment. >3< but, not really bird-like. more like…… i dunno. :I how a dinosaur egg looks, only with a colorful shell…
but, i wasn’t the one who decided tenta things come from eggs. 8U i dunno where that came from, but many tenta-mods do it, so…. ask them? :I
